because

> because
A conjunction that introduces a subordinate adverbial clause of reason, as in "They sold the house because they are going abroad" and "Because she is shy she never goes to parties". It is often used incorrectly in such constructions as "The reason they went away is because they were bored". This should be rephrased as either "The reason that they went away is that they were bored" or "They went away because they were bored".
