rhyme

> rhyme and rime
rhyme and rime are liable to be confused. They sound alike but have completely different meanings. Rhyme refers to "a word which is like another in its final sound", as in "tailor and sailor are rhymes", "rough and puff are rhymes" and "dilatory and military are rhymes". Rhyme can also be a verb, as in "tailor rhymes with sailor". Rime refers to "a thick white frost", as in "fields covered with rime".
