sometime

> sometime and some time
sometime and some time are liable to be confused. Sometime means "at an unknown or unspecified time", as in "We must get together sometime" and "I saw her sometime last year". There is a growing tendency in modern usage to spell this as some time. Originally some time was restricted to meaning "a period of time", as in "We need some time to think".
