woven

> weaved, wove and woven
weaved, wove and woven can cause problems. Wove is the usual past tense of the verb "to weave", as in "She wove the cloth on a hand loom", "The spider wove a web" and "The children wove a garland of flowers". However, in the sense of "to move along by twisting and turning" weaved is the past tense, as in "The cyclist weaved in and out of the traffic" and "The drunks weaved their way home". Woven is the past participle of all but "the twisting and turning" sense, as in "She had woven the cloth herself" and "The children had woven garlands". Weaved is the past participle, as in "She has weaved her way through the traffic".
